Sr. Employee/Labor Relations Specialist
In this unique job-sharing position (.6 FTE), you will have the opportunity to handle a variety of Employee/Labor Relations issues in a union/non-union, exempt/non-exempt/executive environment. Responsibilities include providing guidance and training to Employee Relations Specialists and staff, recommending and assisting in writing HR policies/procedures, interpreting and enforcing HR policies, the collective bargaining unit agreement and state/federal laws, and investigating employee grievances and EEO/NLRB complaints. Additionally, you will provide counsel regarding corrective action, conduct exit interviews and respond to unemployment insurance claims.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree, 5+ years of experience in labor relations, and a demonstrated ability to independently process grievances, conduct EEO/legal/third party investigations, write policies, and provide appropriate guidance to management. Requires a thorough working knowledge of related government labor laws (ADA, FMLA and Worker's Comp), including unemployment insurance and good communication skills.
