The College of Business and Economics at West Virginia University anticipates a faculty opening in the Department of Management and Industrial Relations at the Assistant or Associate Professor level (non-tenured, tenure track) starting in Fall 2011. We are seeking candidates who have already earned a Ph.D. degree or will have completed their dissertation by Fall 2011. Preference will be given to those candidates who have research and teaching interests in the areas of labor relations and human resource management. Instructional duties may include teaching in both the Master of Science in Industrial Relations [Human Resource Management] program and in the undergraduate program in labor relations and human resource management. An ideal candidate will balance strong research and teaching capabilities.
