Hold the Date! 63rd Annual Meeting – Denver CO, January 6-9, 2011
Employment Relations for Economic Recovery and Sustained Growth is the theme for LERA's next Annual Meeting to be held at Denver's Westin Tabor Center.
Become a part of the program by submitting a session proposal or paper or poster proposals to LERA's competitive papers sessions (including student competitions.)
Academic symposia and hands-on practitioner workshop proposals are encouraged.

LERA's Proceedings of the 61st Annual Meeting Now Available - Papers from the 2009 Annual Meeting are now available online in an electronic PDF format for easy viewing and printing. It features research and papers presented in San Francisco in a number of sessions including:

LERA Research Volume Published
The 2009 LERA Research Volume The Human Rights in Labor and Employment Relations: International and Domestic Perspectives, edited by James Gross and Lance Compa is now available.
All members and libraries were mailed a copy in August 2009. Copies can be ordered through Cornell University Press.

The latest issue of Perspectives on Work (Vol. 13, No. 2) includes a series of articles on Green Jobs, including an interview on the subject with Hilda Solis, U.S. Secretary of Labor. The issue also includes articles on how stakeholders, including trade unionists and community activists are stepping in to promote green jobs as well as an article giving the perspective of a green employer.
Also featured is a series of articles on “The Multi Generational Workplace: A New Generation Gap” in which our authors look at the world of work today and write about internal workplace relations, challenges, and knowledge transfer as well as the implications for the workforce delaying retirement.
Finally, Economic Theory and International Perspectives is the subject that ties this issues three book reviews together.
