Topic: Ford’s Future in Georgia and Auto Industry Negotiations
Ford Motor Company recently concluded negotiations for a four-year collective bargaining agreement with the United Auto Workers. UAW, Local 882 reached agreement with Ford officials on local issues at the Atlanta Assembly Plant. Mitch Smith and Cerita Brown were key leaders in these talks and they have both been involved in discussions over the Ford Motor’s future plans in Georgia. Our speakers have been quoted in recent editions of the New York Times, the Automotive News and the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
