As we have moved into the electronic age, chapters are encouraged to use this resource to their advantage. The LERA National web site offers information on meetings and programs, membership information, publications, Chapter meeting information and profiles, the National Calendar of activities and events, Awards, section and committee information. Chapters can post their meeting information via the online Chapter Event submission form or by emailing LERAoffice@uiuc.edu. Some chapters send information to members via email or fax, less costly and more timely than regular mail.

Some chapters have developed their own web site or asked the national office to post a web site with in the national web pages. Chapters often include a home page, a member directory to assist members as they network and to encourage members to become better acquainted, meeting information, a listing of officers and board/committee members, and information or a printable form describing how to join the chapter. Please contact the national office if you are interested in setting up a web page for your chapter.
