The 155-member chapter usually holds luncheon meetings at the National Woman's Democratic Club, 1526 New Hampshire Ave., NW (near Dupont Circle) on the last Wednesday of the month, September to June, an annual dinner in June and, on occasion, special brown-bag lunches and other events.   

Dues are $30 regular, $20 retired, $5 students.

November 18, 2009 - "The Long and Winding Road to Health Care Reform: How did we get here and where are we going?" held at the Woman's National Democratic Club's historic mansion. David C. Jacobs, Professor of Business Administration at Morgan State University and Kelly Ross, AFL-CIO Policy Coordinator are the two distinguished speakers. Registration is at 11:45 am, with lunch beginning at 12:15 pm. The cost is $25 for members with reservation, $15 for student members, and $30 for non-members and non-reserved members.
