Wednesday, September 29, 2010 National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) Regional Director Robert W. Chester for the Pittsburgh Region will be speaking at the Nittany Labor and Employment Relations Association (LERA). The meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. at the Atherton Hotel on S. Atherton Street in State College, PA. More details to follow.
Tuesday, March 23, 2010 - Philip Murray Memorial Labor Lecture
Elizabeth Shuler, Secretary-Treasurer of the AFL-CIO will be speaking at the lecture, co-sponsored by the Nittany Chapter, at 8 p.m. in 112 Kern Building at Penn State University.

Speaker, Robert Drago, Professor of Labor Studies and Employment Relations and Womens' Studies. Professor Drago is an internationally recognized expert on the issue of balancing work and family obligations and family-friendly work practices. He is a much sought after speaker on this topic, has lectured all around the world, testified before Congress and the Penna. Legislature and authored several books.
