Benefits for Major Labor-Management Partners
Your support will benefit the entire field of labor and employment relations and associated research, policy, and practice, while ensuring that your labor-management team has a voice in the discussions taking place at the LERA and shaping the workplace of tomorrow.

Membership in the LERA

Your labor-management team may appoint eight (8) of your colleagues as LERA members, four from the management side of the team, and four from the labor side of the team. The LERA will provide you with a neutral meeting ground, while you engage in all LERA communities and activities, share research and best practices in person and through LERA publications, and network with other professionals. More information about the many benefits of individual membership is available here.

Networking

  • Members on both side of the Labor-Management Partnership will have multiple opportunities to connect and team-build at various events.
  • You will enjoy reserved meeting space at the Annual Meeting.
  • You also have the unique opportunity to appoint an individual from your L-MP to serve on an Advisory Board of the Industry Council of your choice.

Savings

  • You will receive a 10% discount on meeting registration at our National Policy Forum for your members.
  • You will receive complimentary registration to our Annual Meeting for your eight members.

Recognition for your L-MP
You will be recognized for your support of the LERA and its mission, in multiple media, with audiences spanning employment relations practitioners, company executives, union officials, Capitol Hill staffers, attorneys, government employees, mediators and arbitrators, journalists, researchers, academics, and others involved with labor and employment relations practices, law, and policy. These branding opportunities include:

  • Online recognition, reaching thousands of key individuals in our field continually ,
  • In our LERA publications, reaching all of our members and subscribers on an on-going basis throughout the year, and
  • in signage and programs, at our Annual Meetings and our National Policy Forums, attended by stakeholders and decision-makers in our field. Our meeting programs reach thousands more than those who attend the conferences.
  • Promotion as host of a meeting hospitality event at BOTH our Annual Meeting and our National Policy Forum. This event will be promoted in our meeting programs, agendas, and other promotional materials that reach thousands.
Many Other Benefits
Your L-MP will have a host of other benefits and resources at its fingertips, including our LERA "Online Members-only Library" of publications and archives, LERA communities, leadership opportunities with LERA and in our Industry Councils and Interest Sections, on-line outreach to your colleagues with our LERA Listservs and LERA Commons blog, LERA member discounts, advance information about LERA events and meetings.
